When hiring someone to inspect your largest investment, why take a chance on so called building experts or non-licensed home inspectors.
Anyone can call themselves a home inspector, but by law, in
practically all states, Licensed Professional Engineers are the only ones who can legally render an opinion as to the structural integrity of an existing building.

AVT uses only licensed professionals. The P.E.
(Professional Engineer) and R.A. (Registered Architect) designations are the only ones regulated and recognized by state governments to ensure proper education, training and experience to serve the public.
By law, in practically all states, a Licensed
Professional Engineer is the only one who can legally render an opinion as to the
structural integrity of an existing building.
To obtain a state license as a Professional Engineer, an
individual must satisfy the following requirements:
 | A four year degree in engineering from an accredited university |
 | Four years of professional engineering experience |
 | Satisfactory passing of (2) Eight hour exams administered by the state in the practice of engineering. |
Membership in a professional organization is fine, but it does
not take the place of a state issued license.
Make sure the company you choose uses only licensed professionals
for your important project.
